I'd say things are starting to calm down, but they're not really. 
I'm moving at the end of the month and my life is pretty turbulent. Thankfully, I'm getting close to being done with most of my work for this month and will be sending out updates to all of my commissioners soon.
Also, I'm sure most of you noticed that I entered the DLOP coloring contest- falynevarger.deviantart.com/ar… And I've made it to the semi-finals! The final winner is going to be decided via public poll so if you guys liked my piece feel free to vote for me here- armando-huerta.deviantart.com/… Of course if you like the others more I won't hold it against you for voting for them. I think the voting will stay open for 24 hours so you have some time.
Other than that I'm just whittling away at the stack of work I have and packing everything but the necessities. The computers are getting moved on the last day so I'll still be plugged in till then. I'm not really sure how long it will take for us to get set up again, but we shouldn't have the problem with the internet being available like that last time we moved.

First off, a happy holiday to everyone, whichever one you celebrate. :)
2016 has been a hard year. But it's also had some nice highlights. I can't pretend it was all bad, but I'm happy to be moving on.
I don't talk a lot about my personal life online. However, if something hits me very hard and I know it's affecting my art, I might mention it. I'm not going to go over the events of 2016 here, but I realize this year has probably been my least active in the almost 10 years I've been a member of this site. I don't post art enough, so I really truly appreciate everyone who has stuck around as my watcher, and as my friends.

Been busy doing my regular commissions per usual. I have plenty new sketches that I’ll be posting soon from those.

A friend of mine recently launched a TeeSpring campaign and I thought I’d give it a go as well.
So I stayed up late tonight after the kids fell asleep and created this design for the new school year.
I never thought being a teacher’s pet was a bad thing. :3

Hope you all had an enjoyable Independence Day!
I had a pretty good holiday, and birthday! :D I got some cool new RPGs and made from scratch truffles, roasted hotdogs over a bonfire, made homemade ice cream, and saw some pretty fireworks.
All in all a very distracting last 3 days. I think I only drew 1 hour over the weekend. It feels like I didn't do anything!
But I guess that's the point of a holiday. :P
Also, thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! I feel like my dA is rather empty, but more people wished me well than I was expecting and it made me feel good, so thank you again.

. Hoping that things get a bit more peaceful there for ya and less turbulent. I hear ya in that way. When I finally get my PC fixed might come back to ya for another commission if ya are going to be available
